We have been an approved provider for Alcohol Server Education in the State of New Mexico since 1998. Everyone who sells or serves alcohol in the state of New Mexico is required to obtain a Server’s Permit. This includes all Bartenders, Waiters, Managers, Liquor License Owners, Convenience or Grocery Store Clerks. A Server Permit is valid for 3 years. Both our Face-to-Face class and our Instructor-Led Virtual class are meant to be engaging and informative, and they are designed to help you go beyond the basics to pass the certification class and to help you serve alcohol responsibly and legally while on the job. To obtain your Temporary Alcohol Server Permit today, the following are required: Completion of the Server Permit Application Verification of your identity with a valid Picture ID. Attending the entire Certification Class on the same day A passing score of 80% on the 50 question test which will be given at the end of the course Upon successful completion of the Alcohol Server Education class and obtaining a passing test score, you will receive a Temporary Alcohol Server Permit. The Temporary Server Permit is valid for 120 days from the date you successfully complete the class. Your official permit will arrive by mail from the New Mexico Department of Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Again, thank you for choosing ASTS to complete your Alcohol Server Education class.
