ALAMO COLLEGES DISTRICT 2021 STATE LEGISLATIVE AGENDA Invest in Texas’ Economic Recovery • Prioritize investments in Texas Community Colleges at an overall minimum level of $1.879 billion to include: ACD Snapshot - Adopting the Success Points metric and weights as recommended by the CTCFAC 100,000+ - Fund Success Points at the 2020-21 reimbursement rate of Students in AY 2020 $202.53 per point - Provide hold harmless funding on a by-college basis to 11,645 ensure that no college’s state appropriation declines relative degrees and certificates to the 2020-21 biennium awarded in AY 2020 • Support interventions and funding for diverse student populations aligned with success measures including the 73% non-formula support request for the Alamo Colleges District’s People of Color (Fall 2020) Veterans Assistance Centers. Expand Texas’ Workforce Programs 60% Female (Fall 2020) • Grow employer-informed micro-credentials and certificates and ensure they are recognized as part of the state’s 60x30TX Plan. 68% • Invest in existing (Skills Development Fund and the (J.E.T.)
