Progress south, by-pass National Park Grasmere Cockermouth, Workington and Whitehaven until you reach Westlakes which is clearly signposted on the left of the road approximately two and a half miles south of Whitehaven. Turn left into the park and turn right at the first roundabout you Ingwell Hall come to. Continue to follow the signs for Herdus House. By road from South: If you are travelling to Herdus House from the south you should leave the M6 at Junction 40 and take the A66 west past Keswick and Cockermouth. Then take the A595 south until you are approximately two and a half miles south of Whitehaven, where the entrance to Westlakes is clearly signposted on the left of the road.
