Anti-JAM3 monoclonal antibody, clone 2E4 (CAB- 3683MH) This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use. PRODUCT INFORMATION Product Overview Mouse Anti-JAM3 Monoclonal Antibody Antigen Description Tight junctions represent one mode of cell-to-cell adhesion in epithelial or endothelial cell sheets, forming continuous seals around cells and serving as a physical barrier to prevent solutes and water from passing freely through the paracellular space. The protein encoded by this immunoglobulin superfamily gene member is localized in the tight junctions between high endothelial cells. Unlike other proteins in this family, the this protein is unable to adhere to leukocyte cell lines and only forms weak homotypic interactions. The encoded protein is a member of the junctional adhesion molecule protein family and acts as a receptor for another member of this family. Target JAM3 Immunogen JAM3 (NP_116190, 82 a.a. ~ 180 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa. Isotype IgG2a Source/Host Mouse Species Reactivity Human Clone 2E4 Conjugate Unconjugated Applications ELISA Format Clear, colorless solution in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2. Size 100 μg Preservative None Storage Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°Cfor up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°Cin small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. 45-1 Ramsey Road, Shirley, NY 11967, USA Email: [email protected] Tel: 1-631-624-4882 Fax: 1-631-938-8221 1 © Creative Diagnostics All Rights Reserved GENE INFORMATION Gene Name JAM3 junctional adhesion molecule 3 [ Homo sapiens ] Official Symbol JAM3 Synonyms JAM3; junctional adhesion molecule 3; junctional adhesion molecule C; JAM C; JAMC; JAM-2; JAM-3; JAM-C; FLJ14529; Entrez Gene ID 83700 Protein Refseq NP_001192258 UniProt ID Q9BX67 Chromosome Location 11q25 Pathway Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs), organism-specific biosystem; Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs), conserved biosystem; Cell surface interactions at the vascular wall, organism-specific biosystem; Epithelial cell signaling in Helicobacter pylori infection, organism-specific biosystem; Epithelial cell signaling in Helicobacter pylori infection, conserved biosystem; Hemostasis, organism-specific biosystem; Integrin cell surface interactions, organism-specific biosystem; Function integrin binding; protein binding; 45-1 Ramsey Road, Shirley, NY 11967, USA Email: [email protected] Tel: 1-631-624-4882 Fax: 1-631-938-8221 2 © Creative Diagnostics All Rights Reserved.
