IDAHO AIR NATIONAL GUARD 190TH FIGHTER SQUADRON BOISE AIR TERMINAL (GOWEN FIELD) 03 Feb 2020 MEMORANDUM FOR: RATED PILOTS INTERESTED IN BECOMING A SKULLBANGER FROM: 190FS/RATED HIRING POC SUBJECT: INFO ON 2020 RATED HIRING BOARD 1. Thank you for the interest in the 190th Fighter Squadron. We realize that, no matter where you are coming from (GUARD, RESERVES, or AD), you are trying to plan your life. Our goal is to provide you the most accurate information we have. 2. For 2020, we will be holding a rated hiring board on our Drill Weekend, 7-8 November. 3. The board will be open to all rated pilots from all services and we expect to hire one pilot. 4. Invitations for interviews will be sent out a month prior to the board. 5. Anyone interested in the unit is more than welcome to come by and visit the squadron anytime. While this is not required, it is probably the best way to get a feel for the 190th, meet the members, and for the members of the unit to get to know you before the interview. You’ll also be able to check out the town of Boise and see what it has to offer. If you are overseas or deployed, we understand this might not be possible. Most of the squadron will be out of town this summer on various TDYs. Leading up to the summer TDYs, attendance in the squadron should be pretty good. Specific drill weekends are: 6-8 March 2-3 May (limited attendance) 6-7 June (limited attendance) 1-2 August 12-13 September 3-4 October 6.
