Many businesses are also breaking out their end of summer sales and back-to-school specials to help students prepare. Enrollment proceedings for Clinton, Weatherford, Elk City, Hydro-Eakly, and Thomas-Fay- Custer are underway with each public school setting up their own safety precautions. When the school year is in full-swing, schools will be closely monitoring the health of students and staff to ensure a smooth and stable year. Fall sports are back in action and the 2021 sports season appears to be in for an exciting time. Visit your local public school’s website for a full schedule of events, games, and holidays. Clinton Public Schools will resume classes on Thursday, August 12th. Additional August 12th start dates include Elk City Public Schools, Thomas- Fay-Custer Public Schools, and Weatherford Public Schools; Hydro-Eakly Public Schools will begin on Wednesday, August 11th.
