With donor support the Goodman School brand is recognized around the world as a business school of excellence. The newly transformed building gives the Goodman School of Business a world-class setting to engage in research and scholarship, while also serving as a base for the community to gather and interact with our students, staff and faculty. The support provided to students through the Goodman scholarships has helped us attract the brightest students and place them in leadership roles as ambassadors of the Goodman School of Business. Doug Wilkinson As a senior partner who spent nearly 30 years at Deloitte, Doug Wilkinson (BBA ’91) was largely responsible for making a major gift to the Goodman School of Business a reality. But in recognition of the impact Brock has had on his life, he has also made a generous personal donation to the University, which funded a new interview room in the new Goodman atrium named in Wilkinson's childrens honour. I attribute my career success at Deloitte to the education I received while at Brock University and it means a lot to me to be able to give back in such a meaningful way. Doug Wilkinson THE JOYCE FAMILY FOUNDATION BURSARY MADE AN IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF 48 STUDENTS IN 2018. Norma Bassett Establishing a fund in her brothers honour was a way for Norma Bassett to ensure his legacy will live on in the community that he was a prominent part of. Her gift created a fund that supports a student and community jazz ensemble, an accompanying instrumental jazz techniques course and the Hugh and Marie Logan Jazz Series. Hugh Logan’s love of music was evident to those in the Niagara community who knew him — as was his wife Marie’s never-wavering support of that passion. We wanted to do something to honour that passion for music and giving back to students at Brock and other musicians in the Niagara region was the right choice. Norma Bassett (Photo courtesy of the St. Catharines Standard) Leonard Rosmarin In 2018, retired faculty member Leonard Rosmarin celebrated his eightieth birthday and in honour of this milestone event his family and friends raised $480 for The Leonard Rosmarin Scholarship Fund. The fund was established in his honour back in 2004 and has since benefited 13 Brock University students in the Department of Modern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. The scholarship enables my efforts as an educator to live on and continue as a lasting legacy at Brock University, where I was a proud professor for many years. Leonard Rosmarin Jocelyn Titone As an alumna and staff member at Brock University, Jocelyn Titone (BBA ’07) worked in the non-profit sector after graduation and understands the importance of philanthropy and the importance of giving back both to her community and to the University. She graduated in 2007 after receiving several undergraduate awards to support her studies at Brock University. I know what a difference receiving a student award meant to my success at Brock University and am now in a position to give back. Jocelyn Titone Thank you to the following organizational Organization Donors donors who gave a gift of $100 or more. 63 Welland Avenue Inc. O/A Chateâu des Charmes Wines Ltd.
