World Vision - Nutrition program ended in September - Conducted trainings in 3 municipalities covered in CEIMCI - BNS and BHW training on the proper use and handling of BP Apparatus, Nebulizer, and Doppler. - Distributed Dewormers and MNP to RHU in Dulag, Dagami, and Alang-alang - IEC Materials distributon – GP kits and Pabasa sa Nutrisyon Kits - First Aid trainings conducted with BFP as participants Samaritan’s Purse - Training of Trainors in IYCF Incorporating WASH and COD in the topics i. October 14-16- Abuyog, Sta Fe, Isabel ii. October 15-17- Mayorga 3 iii. October 21-23- Merida Page iv. October 21-29- Ormoc Area - Creating a video on Lactation and Massage in English and Tagalong - To distribute 20 Zambulance in Kanaga Nutrition Cluster Region VIII Nutrition Cluster Meeting Notes: 3 October 2014 Agenda Item: Action: Responsible person and deadlines - Conducted trainings in Communal Gardening with the Badjao Community in Isabel Leyte World Health Organization - Support for identified gaps in the cluster (supplies and materials) may be requested from WHO, but should be coordinated and coursed through DOH. UNICEF - Direct Cash Transfer and LGU Workplans: partners are requested to assist in implementation of project activities. Liquidation to start for the first tranche/batch recipients. - Conducted Rapid Coverage Assessment and monitoring on LGU capacity to carry out NiE and IYCF. Subject experts from ACF are available to conduct PNAO – Leyte training, coordinate with - concern on the availability of qualified trainers to conduct CMAM and IYCF Judith Wolff trainings in LGU as part of the DCT of UNICEF DOH - Ongoing assessment on Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital initiative in EVRMC and other hospitals - OPARR Reporting to include data on: Iron, Zinc, MNP, VitA, Weighing Scale and Height board distribution. Include data on the monthly report submitted to cluster for consolidation. 4.
