The appointment is effective as of May 29. Dan will continue to be based at the company’s head office in Edmonton, reporting to Don McDonald, President and CEO. In Dan’s newly created role he will be responsible for Canadian content strategy, acquisitions and development for the company’s genre specific Esports channel in conjunction with GINX Esports TV (UK). In this position, Dan will manage the continued growth and strategic direction of GINX Esports TV Canada. In addition, Dan will maintain his current title and responsibilities as Director, Program Services & Network Scheduling. Prior to joining Super Channel, Dan was Assistant Director, Program Services & Video On Demand for Movie Central.
