ONE press trip place: Vintage in Bordeaux, Entre-Deux-Mers & Sauternes: September 20th-22nd Submitted by: R&R Teamwork Limited Friday, 3 September 2010 R&R is organising a foodie press trip to taste the wines of Bordeaux during the vintage in Entre-Deux-Mers & Sauternes: September 20th-22nd. Please bear in mind that the Bordeaux Wine Council always insists that journalists have a commission either in a print publication (circulation 50,000+) or a consumer lifestyle website (1,000,000+ hits per month). Sometimes journalists secure multiple commissions in order to meet these requirements. Apologies but this is set in stone. I have a draft itinerary of the trip and the program includes:- -Food and wine tasting workshop and class at the École du Vin -Gastro walking or cyclo tour of Bordeaux city -A healthy cooking class at Les Sources de Caudalie vinotherapie spa -Cycle or walk around the vineyards of Pessac-Léognan and spot the Grands Crus Classés châteaux -Wine and chocolate tasting at Château Haut-Bailly (www.chateau-haut-bailly.com) Plus wine tastings, vineyard walks and château visits with an overnight stay in Les Sources de Caudalie (www.sources-caudalie.com). We have decided to keep the trip short and sweet but you are welcome to arrive in Bordeaux early or stay on later at your own expense.
