I am very pleased that we were able to co-opt five new members on to the Board of Management this year, following a recruitment drive. We are fortunate to be able to replace those members who are retiring and also ensure a broad range of skills and experience for the future. David Scott Chairman 04 What our partners say... Eldon Housing continues to work hard with Croydon Council to deliver savings whilst providing an effective, efficient Facilities Management service at Fellows Court Extra Care and Heavers, Addington and Langley Resource Centres through their Homes for the Future (New 4 Old) PFI Project. The Association understands the challenges faced by local authorities in delivering savings and efficiencies, whilst continuing to serve local communities and citizens. The Association’s fresh approach to service delivery is helping the Council to adapt and intelligently evolve for the long term enabling it to become the enterprising Council of the future. By understanding and sharing Croydon’s priorities the Association can develop and adapt to the future organisational demands and challenges that lie ahead.” Integrated Commissioning Unit (Adults) Croydon Council For the last 20 years, Eldon has acted for the Croydon Unitarian HA as Managing Agents responsible for the day to day running of Marten House and its administration and are to be congratulated on their high level of achievement. Not only has the House and garden been maintained to a good standard of upkeep, most importantly the tenancy level of the House has remained high throughout thereby ensuring the financial stability of this small Housing Association over the years. A feature of the service that Eldon provides is tenant support. Marten House is not a care home. It exists to provide ‘sheltered accommodation for the elderly. This being so, the tenants are expected to be independent, and most, if not all, enjoy this knowing also that there will be support should it be needed. This is an important element in the excellent service provided by Eldon. Croydon Unitarian Rev. Jim McClelland Housing Association Limited Chairman Eldon Housing Association’s partnership with East Grinstead Housing Society started in 2003 and we continue to benefit from the expertise and advice from Eldon’s Chief Executive, Elizabeth Rangé and its Finance and HR Teams. The involvement of Eldon has assisted greatly in the smooth running of our scheme, Lingfield Lodge, which is unique in its service provision.
