Economy is both the object and the means of national security. Armed Forces through operations Zarb-e-Azb and Radul Fassad have improved the security environments within the country creating enabling environments for economic activities. The Defence forces remain committed to the security of the flagship project of CPEC. The Year Book 2017-18 provides information for the policy makers and general public on matters of Ministry of Defence and its attached Departments. It gives detailed account of various activities, achievements and contributions made by these departments. However, information / details about Armed Forces have not been included for obvious reasons.
