2017-18 FLORIDA ATHLETICS SEASON A NCAA title by the men’s indoor track & fi eld team led a program-record 12 top-fi ve team fi nishes as the University of Florida athletics program took third in the 2017-18 Learfi eld Sports Directors’ Cup. Florida’s No. 3 standing is the program’s 10th consecutive top-fi ve national all-sports fi nish. Florida equaled Stanford for the 2017-18 national high of top-fi ve team fi nishes. Florida is the only program in the nation to fi nish among the nation’s top 10 in each of the last 35 national all-sports standings. Seven conference titles were earned by Florida teams in 2017-18. Florida led the Southeastern Conference with six titles – baseball, softball, men’s swimming & diving, men’s & women’s outdoor track & fi eld and volleyball. The Gators also took their fourth consecutive BIG EAST lacrosse title.
