Updated 11.14.14 1 ACCREDITATION Antioch New England University is one of five campuses of Antioch University which is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The Higher Learning Commission is an independent corporation and one of two commission members of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), which is one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. The Higher Learning Commission accredits degree-granting post-secondary educational institutions in the North Central region. Antioch University’s accreditation further includes federal government recognition, making Antioch University’s students fully eligible for a variety of financial aid assistance, including grants, scholarships, and loans. The Dance/Movement Therapy Program was one of the first to be approved by the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) . The Marriage and Family Therapy Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE). Teacher certification programs are approved by the New Hampshire Board of Education. The Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association. Antioch University is composed of Antioch University Midwest located in Yellow Springs Ohio, Antioch University New England in Keene, New Hampshire, Antioch University Seattle, Antioch University Los Angeles, and Antioch University Santa Barbara The Antioch University New England (AUNE) Academic Catalog is published annually. It provides information about the University and defines the policies, procedures and requirements that apply to all students beginning an academic program in this catalog year. It also provides descriptions of all courses currently approved by the faculty at AUNE (information regarding specific semester scheduled offerings of these courses is available to enrolled students). Every effort is made to ensure that the degree requirement and course information, applicable policies, and other materials contained in the AUNE Catalog are accurate and current. Our AUNE community comprises students, faculty, and staff of diverse backgrounds and experience. Students come to our campus from throughout the U.S. and around the world to pursue graduate study and change the world for the better. We share a common commitment to Antioch University’s mission with our colleagues at the other Antioch University campuses in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Seattle, and Yellow Springs, Ohio.
