The 17-year-old wild card, yet to earn an ATP ranking, will again be a heavy underdog against the reigning Rotterdam champion. In the last of the day’s singles matches, Gimeno-Traver meets Russia’s Daniil Medvedev for the second time this season after losing to the 20-year-old at the Bordeaux Challenger in May.
