F Isaiah Crawford need his fourth goal of the year, but F Tyler Gjurich scored twice and had an assist for Elmira. G Frankie McClendon made 43 saves in what proved to be his RECORD VS. PORT HURON and nearly scored on two separate occasions in his debut last night. 1 GP, (0‐0‐0‐0), 0 SO, 3.00 GAA, .900 SV% G Kent Nusbaum, who has served as a backup for six different ECHL teams, was signed as the Ice Breakers’ backup netminder. Nusbaum, who was in training camp #30 Jordan Brant with Mentor in 2018, recorded a .922 save percentage in two appearances with the OVERALL: Watertown Wolves last season. He stopped nine of 10 shots in the third period of 17 GP, (3‐10‐0‐1), 0 SO, 4.52 GAA, .879 SV% last night’s 7‐4 loss against the Prowlers. Addionally, D Josh Lemke recorded a helper in his first VS. PORT HURON: pro oung at just 21 years of age. It was certainly impressive to watch some of the 3 GP, (0‐3‐0‐0), 0 SO, 9.07 GAA, .805 SV% young newcomers contribute against a deep veteran Prowlers squad baling for playoff posioning. SEASON SERIES: Port Huron has dominated its matchups with Mentor this year, win‐ HEAD‐TO HEAD LEADERS (2019‐20) ning seven of eight games. The Ice Breakers’ lone win came on November 23 when G (acve players only) Austyn Roudebush made 54 saves and F Declan Conway scored twice and dished out a pair of assists in a 6‐3 victory. MENTOR BIG‐NAME SIGNING: The Prowlers made headlines this week by signing F Mike Ru‐ NAME GP G A PTS pert, a two‐me OHL champion with the London Knights who has experience suing D.
