Today, we honor our Founders Scholars and other accomplished undergraduates. Indiana University has experienced tremendous growth since its founding more than 200 years ago. Along the way, our institution has developed an impressive legacy of teaching and learning. The students we recognize today are part of that legacy. They have demonstrated intellectual curiosity, discipline, and engagement. They view serious study as a welcome challenge, and they are enthusiastic scholars whose current achievements suggest a bright future for them and all of us.
