Extremely great footwork. Not really talked about, but can really play. Limited upside because he is an older prospect. He would have benefited from declaring himself eligible for the 2019 draft. He could be an instant offensive player for an NBA team. Has an explosive first step and can really handle the ball. Shoots extremely well off the dribble. He has a rare ability to score in bunches. In a seven-game series, I do not think Ja Morant could beat him one-on-one. Excellent free throw shooter. In my opinion he can be more of a leader as he becomes quiet at times. I don’t think there is anyone better in this draft offensively than him. When engaged he can be a really good defensive player. I could easily see him being an NBA All-Rookie Team if allowed 20 minutes a night. The knock will be he got injured his freshmen year and stayed in school four more years. Intel His dad Marcus is an engineer in a hospital. His mother is a healthcare executive. He has two sisters. He is very soft spoken, but has great character. Really great kid, doesn’t party nor drink. He hurt his knee his freshmen year. This information was given to me by an insider who is a close friend of the family.
