This five-day program offers you the opportunity to explore the culture of these world- class cities and beautiful little towns, with overnights in Bruges and Brussels. DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY Day 1 Upon arrival at the port, meet your guide and take a visit to the Rijksmuseum, home to the infamous painting The Nightwatch, by Rembrandt. After, take a canal boat ride through the city of Amsterdam before you’re escorted to the train station for your high-speed journey to Brussels where you’ll check in to your hotel. Explore FurtherSM Day 2 This morning, meet your guide and set out for Luxembourg. Cross the European border and, upon arrival, visit the Mardasson Memorial in Bastogne, dedicated to one of the most famous battles of WWII, Battle of the Bulge. You will then be escorted to the capital city area of Luxembourg, where you can see famous landmarks such as the Palace of the Grand Dukes, the official residence of the Grand Duke and enjoy some free time for shopping in Old Town. Around late afternoon, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Brussels where you will enjoy a gourmet dinner at a local restaurant. Day 3 After breakfast, set out to explore Brussels with a city sightseeing tour which will pass by the Atomium statue, the Chinese Pavilion, and Japanese Tower. Visit inside the Royal Palace (only open from July 23rd till the last Sunday of August) or visit the Magritte Museum. After the tours, enjoy a short-guided walk to the nearby Grand Place and the famous statue of Manneken Pis. You will then be escorted to Bruges, where you will check in to your hotel and, in the late afternoon, enjoy a 30-minute canal ride through the city. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure with dinner served that evening in your hotel. Day 4 Today, begins with a stroll through Bruges to take in some of the city’s highlights, including the Beguinage, Minnewater, the Burg, St. Saviour’s Cathedral, and the Belfry (exterior views only). Enjoy a beer tasting at the Bruges’ Beer Museum, followed by leisure time for you to find a spot to eat lunch, before regrouping to visit the Ypers region, surrounded by the Ypres Salient battlefields, where you’ll explore a number of notable sites. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your Bruges hotel. Day 5 After breakfast, meet your private driver who’ll escort you back to Brussels, for your return flight home.
