Welcome to December! As you know we are operating under a variety of unusual circumstances due to the recent hurricanes and COVID restrictions. Our students have shown how adaptable and resilient they are through all these issues. Due to the COVID restrictions, our class Christmas Parties will have to look a little different this year as well, but we know that you and our students will adapt to this change as well as you have all the others! Christmas Parties will only be able to be attended by the teacher, students, and maybe a special visit from Santa! Unfortunately, parents will be unable to attend this year’s Christmas Parties. Also, all treats must be individually wrapped and store bought. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to make sure all students are safe and healthy while on our campus. Join the RWV staff in enjoying the Holiday Season by dressing up with us! • December 11 – Shine Bright Like a Christmas Light! - Light up your holiday wardrobe with Christmas lights, glitter, tinsel, light-up necklaces, etc. • December 18 – Baby It’s Cold Outside – Wear a Christmas sweater, t-shirt, or sweatshirt. We’ll pretend it’s cold even if it’s not! • December 23 – Hop on the Polar Express! - Let’s take a little trip in your favorite school appropriate Christmas jammies! December Family Challenge • Like many of you the RWV Christmas tree and ornaments suffered some damage. We need your help to make decorations for our tree! Attached you will find a guide for ornaments that you can cut out and decorate or feel free to create an ornament of your own. The only thing stopping you is your imagination!
