Three Cheers Activity11 Trees Family and Friends: Things To Do Together We are exploring all the wonderful things that trees provide, for example, food, wood products, fresh air, and shade. Here are some activities you and your child can do together: Go on a tree “treasure hunt” with your child. Search around the house for things that come from trees. Send one amazing thing to school for your child to share with the class. Take a trip to a lumberyard or woodworking shop and look at wood from different kinds of trees. Visit a furniture store or music store and look Help build your child’s vocabulary by using some for things made of wood. of these new words in your conversations: Come to school!
