Directions on how to view a split screen on your Chromebook. 1. Open your Google Chrome Web browser and open tabs, or apps, necessary to complete your assignment. 2. Right click on one of the tabs you want to see when the screen is split. In Chrome OS, you "right-click" by tapping the touchpad with two fingers. That's all ​ ​ ​ ​ there is to it! You can also hold down the Alt key and tap or click the touchpad with ​ ​ a single finger. 3. Click on “ Move tab to another window” if prompted select “New window”. Next hold down your alt button (found next to the space bar) While holding down alt press the { key (notice this is the left bracket, this key is ​ located next to the letter P key). Then you will see one of your tabs has shifted to the left side of the screen and the other tab is still located behind the shifted tab. You now want to click anywhere ​ on the tab located behind the shifted screen to bring it to the front. 6. Next hold down your alt button (found next to the space bar) ​ While holding down alt press the } key (notice this is the right bracket, this key ​ is located two keys to the right of the letter P key). You should now be able to fully see both tabs one on the left section of your screen and one on the right section of your screen. .
