MARQUETTE: SERIES INFO OVERVIEW GAME • Saturday will be the 28th all-time meeting between the Hoyas and Golden Eagles with all but two coming since Marquette joined the BIG EAST in 2006. The Hoyas trail the all-time series 14-13. • Last season, Georgetown and Marquette split the season series with both teams winning on the road by one possession. • The Hoyas defeated then-No. 16/15 Marquette 86-84 in Milwaukee to close out the regular season. Mac McClung finished with 23 points, going 11-of-14 from the free throw line, while Jamorko Pickett was also in double figures with 10 points. • McClung also had 24 points in a 74-71 loss at Capital One Arena. • Patrick Ewing is 1-3 in his coaching career against the Golden Eagles.
