Circular No. 49 F.No. 4-2/AFI/19 December 28, 2019 All Affiliated Units – AFI Subject :- 54th National Cross Country Championships – Change of Venue Dear Sir, Please refer to this office earlier letter No. F.No. 4-2/AFI/19 dated 23rd October 2019 regarding 54th National Cross Country Championships to be held at Karimnagar (Telangana) on 19th January 2020. In this connection, this is to inform you that this Championships will not be held at Karimnagar due to some unavoidable reasons intimated by Telangana Athletics Association. Instead, this Championships will now be held at Warangal on the same date i.e. 19th January 2020. ACCOMMODATION (a) Unfurnished accommodation and boarding will be provided to all the participants and officials. (b) All the athletes will be accommodated in Kakatiya University and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Warangal. Officials will be accommodated in the hotels at Warangal. RECEPTION CENTRES/TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS Reception Centres will be set up at the following Railway Stations and will start functioning w.e.f. 17th January 2020 (Evening) Onwards. (a) Ramagundam Railway Station (Incharge - Mr.Manohar, Mob. 9849084299) (b) Warangal Railway Station (Incharge - Mr.Krishna Murthy, Mob.No.9059031831) (c) Kazipet Railway Station (Incharge - Mr.Vijay Kumar Mob. No. 7396537027) The Manager/Athletes of your Unit may be advised accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. (d) The Organizers will arrange buses from the above mentioned Railway Stations to the venue of accommodation. (e) Athletes/Officials travelling to Hyderabad by Air may note that number of buses (Ordinary/Luxury) will be available at the Airport for Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station and from there for Warangal. MANAGERS MEETING The Managers meeting will be held on 18th January 2020 at 3:00 PM at Kakatiya University, Warangal. TECHNICAL OFFICIALS MEETING The meeting of Technical Officials will be held at 4:00 PM on 18th January 2020. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE All the Units are requested to submit the arrival/departure of its teams in the online entry to enable the organizers for smooth reception.
