Looking for that Global Edge? CGBP Bootcamp August 16-20, 2021 Are you a college student? Want to gain expertise in international trade? Apply to earn an industry-recognized certification and become eligible for a paid, hands-on internship! The International Business Development (IBD) program at the Virginia SBDC - George Mason University invites qualified students to apply for the summer NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP) Bootcamp! Dates: August 16 – 20. Time: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM-Noon and 1:00 PM-2:00 PM. Who Can Apply? Juniors, seniors, and graduate students from: George Mason University, James Madison University, Longwood University, University of Mary Washington, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Virginia and Washington D.C. Students who have completed at least one business course and are currently enrolled at: Northern Virginia Community College, Lord Fairfax Community College, Southwest Virginia Community College, Virginia Highlands Community College, and Mountain Empire Community College. Students who participate in the Bootcamp will receive complimentary access to NASBITE’s CGBP Student Pathway Program and will be eligible for the opportunity to apply for a paid, virtual, semester/year-long internship with the Virginia SBDC International program. Dates to Know! July 23: Applications due July 27: Accepted students will be notified July 29: Selected students must confirm participation August 16-20: Bootcamp takes place daily from 10AM-12PM and 1PM-2PM We can only accept students who can attend all the Bootcamp sessions.
