The Annapolis Summit is considered by many in the legislative community as the thematic ‘kickoff’ of the Maryland General Assembly session. The Opening Day event features 90-minutes with Governor Larry Hogan, and Presiding Officers Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, and House Speaker Michael Busch discussing the most prominent policy issues facing Maryland policymakers going into the new Session. The event will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 7:30 a. m. at the Governor Calvert House, 58 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401. Solo Summit Raises Member Practices to Great Heights November 10, 2017, solo law practitioners from across the state descended on the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport for Solo Summit 2017. Summit attendees learned how to maximize their practice’s potential and used this opportunity to build and expand their network. The Solo Summit was organized by MSBA’s Department of Law Office Management Assistance and the Solo and Small Firm Section.
