It was where we made lifelong friends – some even became our family. CMU’s home is diverse and far reaching. In this issue, you’ll read about a Michigan man who fought in a war half a century ago, more than 6,000 miles from home. He returned from Korea and enrolled at CMU wanting to make a difference. He began raising money for desperate children in Korean orphanages. In this magazine, we hear from some of those Koreans whose lives were changed because CMU students decided to help. We also are celebrating with Mount Pleasant as it turns 125.
