Revelation 21 - "Jesus Makes All Things New"

Revelation 21 - "Jesus Makes All Things New" [1Pe 1:8 KJV] 8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Psalms 74:12 For God is my King from of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth. Psalms 98:3 He has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. We can endure - as we wait for Jesus to come... [2Pe 3:9, 15 KJV] 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. ... 15 And account [that] the longsuffering of our Lord [is] salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; [Mat 24:12-14 NKJV] 12 "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 "But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. [Rev 21:1-27 KJV] V1-4 - Who Knew that everything would be made new 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [2Co 5:17 kjv] 17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new[G2537] creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.[G2537] you must be born again to see the kingdom of God the former things are passed away new heaven and a new earth [2Pe 3:13 kjv] 13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new[G2537] heavens and a new[G2537] earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. [Rev 3:12 kjv] 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, [which is] new[G2537] Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and [I will write upon him] my new[G2537] name. [Isa 65:17-18 KJV] 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. [Isa 66:22 kjv] 22 For as the new[H2319] heavens and the new[H2319] earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. dwelling with God And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, [and be] their God. And God will... wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain the pain and sorrow of death... no more... this is the great promise in life... no more separation, no more sin, no more sorrow... no more crying and pain and sorrow of death... V5-8 - New life or Second death? 5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. This is the promise of eternal life in Jesus Jesus makes all things new the end of this age - with the revealing of the New Creation that Jesus makes the revelation of Jesus Christ - what a wonderful prophecy this book of Revelation truly is... 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death Jesus came to save sinners [Luk 5:32 KJV] 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. [1Ti 1:15 KJV] 15 This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. John 3:17 - not to condemn, but to save... V9-21 - Heaven 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 Having the glory of God: and her light [was] like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, [and] had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19 And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass. the bride, the Lamb's wife the church - declared in Ephesians 5 - the bride of Christ the vision of the city of God - holy Jerusalem - new Jerusalem dressed in glory... like a bride wearing white on her wedding day... [the names] of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: - on the gates all the saints - believing Israel... the church... 12 foundations - the apostles names [Eph 2:19-22 KJV] 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. he measured the city with the reed this is a literal city... it will be real... 12,000 furlong (stadia) - 1,400 miles a cube... the wall - 12X12 = 144 - the church and Israel - "perfect square" That which passes through the fire and remains [1Co 3:11-13 KJV] 11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
