The wine is an impression of our ideas and a presentation of our winemaking style. Our goal is to find a harmony between what we’ve learned through our own personal experience and knowledge about winemaking, and the passed-down wisdom from our family who’ve had this land for more than 150 years. Even though we come from a small winery who has supported and helped us to begin, we’re now standing at the precipice of our own journey as winemakers. While we’ve received great reviews from wine critics; our main purpose is to please you, our customer. We work elaborately by hand in our vineyards to yield the best grapes for our wine line. LAGENWEINE „Lagenwein“ in German, this Single-Vineyard wine is situated in the up-and-coming Höllenbrand. A southern facing vineyard with loam and limestone deposits in the soil, this distinct vineyard also boasts stony lower layers with significant limestone veins. Our Pinot Noir is cultivated here in the renowned Lyra fashion. Our single vineyard wines specifically showcase the unique and exceptional properties this terrier has to offer.
