To whom it may concern, My name is John Kinder Jr. and I have been fortunate enough to have played quarterback at the Division-1 level. I played under Doug Marrone (Jacksonville Jaguar Head Coach) at Syracuse University, where he assembled a coaching staff of former NFL coaches and some of the brightest minds in football in the country. My quarterback coach was Nathaniel Hackett, who is now the offensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Learning the ‘Art of Quarterbacking’ is what I was taught and have built my coaching philosophy predicated on preserving this art. Footwork, film study, and consistent execution have been the pillars of my coaching with Cole Snyder. Cole is an extremely cerebral football player. Having worked with Cole for just over a year, he is clearly a quick learner with an above average football IQ. He is able to recognize coverage, identify fronts, re-direct blocking schemes vs. pressure situations, and at times change the play entirely to put our offense in better situations. Cole exudes an innate feel for the pocket and when he is forced to break the pocket, keeps his eyes up field and extends plays. At 6’2 195 pounds and only 16 years old, Cole shows tremendous upside as a prototypical quarterback in a pro-style/NFL caliber offense. There truly isn’t enough paper to explain not only how great of a kid Cole is but also the incredible amount of time, effort and attention to detail he puts into perfecting his craft; all the while maintaining a 3.6 GPA. Cole aspires to study Engineering in college and whichever college he decides to make his home for 4-5 years will surely be getting a class act! A poised leader in the heat of battle, Cole has proven to come up BIG in clutch situations and plays his best football when the game is on the line and the lights are brightest!
