To mark International Women’s Day Raedas invites you to our annual ‘Women in Disputes’ event. This year we celebrate resilience and leading in adversity. Join us as we open the floor to an extraordinary panel of speakers, to reflect on an extraordinary year. We will hear from Felicity Aston MBE, the first and only woman to ski solo across Antarctica. The 1744km, 59-day journey also made Felicity the first person in the world to traverse Antarctica on muscle power alone earning her a place in the Guinness book of records. Felicity will share her inspiring story of navigating across Antarctica and share lessons in personal resilience, pushing boundaries, and ‘keeping on, keeping on’ in the face of extreme adversity, isolation and unimaginable odds. We then turn over to our panel of industry experts. Polly Wilkins (Partner, Kobre & Kim) Ayse Lowe (Director and Head of European Origination, Bench Walk Advisors) and Joana Rego (Founding Partner, Raedas) will shine a light on their own experience in their respective industries and the impact of the past year. Reflecting on the themes of resilience and leading in adversity, Polly, Ayse and Joana will share their views on leading their teams, leading their business, and leading ourselves during times of self-doubt and uncertainty. The event will take place 15:00 - 16:00 GMT on 9 March 2021. The webinar will not be recorded, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
