STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) IRONMAN 2021 VARIOUS ROADS IN THE COUNTY OF STAFFORDSHIRE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Staffordshire County Council made an Order on the 6 July 2021 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, horse or cycle from proceeding along or waiting, loading or unloading in the lengths of roads as listed in Schedules 1 and 2 unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the event; or being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes. The restrictions are necessary to maintain the safety of all participants and road users and will be in force at various times between the hours of 04:00 and 20:00 on Friday 16 July and Monday 19 July 2021. The preferred alternative route for traffic will be available via: A5 Watling Street (Churchbridge, Norton Canes, New Town, Muckley Corner, Wall, Lichfield), A5148 Wall, A38 Rykneld Street/Lichfield Road/Burton Bypass (Lichfield, Hilliards Cross, Alrewas, Barton Turn, Burton upon Trent, Claymills), A50, A518 (Uttoxeter, Chartley, Weston, Stafford), A34 (Stafford, Brocton, Bednall, Huntington, Cannock). The Order will not, at any time, prevent access of pedestrians to premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the order relates, or to any premises only accessible to pedestrians from such a road. The Order will come in to operation on the 16 July 2021. The event is being held by Ironman Limited.
