Rodrigues #46 DOUBLES Lambling/Rodrigues #30 Jubb/Thomson #41 Pelletier/Brown #80 2 THE MAKING OF DAN MAGILL TENNIS COMPLEX 1972 The University of Georgia frst hosted the NCAA Championships in June 1972. 1989 1985 The University of Georgia was host to the NCAA Championships in 1985, the year the Bulldogs won the title for the frst time. The facility was ofcially named the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in 1993 after Bulldog great Dan Magill, who led Georgia for 34 years as head coach. Five of the Bulldogs’ six National Championships in men’s tennis NCAA titles were won on their home courts at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. The complex hosted the men’s NCAA Championships a total of 24 times, the women’s Championships three times and both genders fve times, most recently in 2017. 3 1999 2019-20 PROJECT 2007 UGA hosted the 2007 NCAA Cham- pionship in Athens, Ga. The Bulldogs would go on to take the title, the third under Diaz.
