The Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs (JINSA) cordially invites you to attend a NY Cabinet luncheon with Colonel Bentzi Gruber, Israel Defense Forces Reserves “ETHICS IN THE FIELD: AN INSIDE LOOK AT THE ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCES” Combining classified IDF footage and well-organized statistics, including exclusive footage from Operation Cast Lead as well as personal accounts from the battlefield, Col. Gruber explores the dilemmas constantly facing IDF commanders in the field. Col. Gruber was given access and permission to present materials and information that is usually only seen by military or government officials. An engaging, exciting, and eye-opening presentation, “Ethics in the Field” goes behind the scenes of the IDF’s daily battle to both ensure the country’s security and uphold one of the most rigorous military Codes of Ethics in the world today. Presentation includes footage of: • Soldiers exposing smuggling tunnels; • The diversions used by terrorists as cover for suicide bombers and kidnapping soldiers; • The pursuit and arrest of a would-be suicide bomber in the Nablus area, taken by an unmanned aerial vehicle; • Terrorists using children as living shields and using ambulances for transportation.
