Others desiring copies may obtain them from the Superintendent of Documents, Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C., at 5 cents each, or 25 cents a year. NOTICES REGARDINGaMEAT INSPECTION ANIMAL CASINGS OF FOREIGN ORIGIN Certificates required by Bureau of Animal Industry Order 305 and instructions issued thereunder, which bear the official title of the high official of the foreign country as specified below, will be acceptable with animal casings offered for importation into the United States. The certificates must also bear the signature of the high official of the national government having jurisdiction over the health of animals in the foreign country in which the casings originated, but owing to the fact that the high officials are changed from time to time it is impracticable to publish their names. DISPOSITION UNDER MEAT INSPECTION OF SWINE INJECTED WITH HOG-CHOLERA VIRUS Swine which have been injected with hog-cholera virus within 14 days immedi- ately preceding the date they are offered for slaughter shall be condemned on ante-mortem inspection. Swine which have been injected with hog-cholera virus within 21 days, but not less than 14 days, immediately preceding the date they are offered for slaughter if otherwise in fit condition shall be marked and handled as United States sus- pects and if slaughtered within the period specified, the carcasses shall be passed for cooking provided the autopsy reveals no cause for condemnation. Swine which have been injected with hog-cholera virus not less than 21 days immediately preceding the date of slaughter shall be given ante-mortem and post- mortem inspection in accordance with the regulations without reference to the injected virus.
