2020-21 COLGATE MEN'S HOCKEY PROSPECTUS 2020-21 SCHEDULE NEWS & NOTES • In the shortened 2019-20 season, Colgate marked a 12-16-8 record along with an 8-9-5 ECAC Hockey mark. ALL SCHEDULING TO BE ANNOUNCED • Colgate earned a pair of wins over nationally ranked opponents behind a 4-3 overtime win at then-No. 18 UMass Lowell (Oct. 18) and another 4-3 overtime win at then-No. 9/12 Harvard (Dec. 7). INCLUDING POTENTIAL NONCONFERENCE • Colgate concluded the season holding its opponent scoreless on the power play in eight straight games for a AND ECAC HOCKEY MATCHUPS total of 18 times on the year. Special teams also began to click in the second half as the Raiders posted 10 power play goals in the last 12 games. Date Opponent Time • In the ECAC First Round vs. Brown, it marked the first time since the 2014-15 season that the Raiders had swept a playoff series, and was the first time since the 2017-18 campaign the Raiders advanced to the ECAC Quarterfinals. • 15 of Colgate’s 34 games were against nationally ranked teams, where Cornell at No. 2 was its top competitor. November • Colgate’s eight ties in the regular season is a program record, surpassing the seven ties in the 2008-09 season.
