Everyone is welcome to this year’s event which will be held on Friday 25th June on the Millennium Football school field - 1.30pm to 4pm. Saturday 26th June Sports Events Union Mills FC Well done to the football and netball teams who recently competed in the southern festival at King William’s College. 9am Start Good luck to the football team who will be taking part in the Millennium Football event at Union Mills FC on Saturday 26th June. Tynwald Day Year 2 Monday 5th July Mrs Young is due to leave us at the end of the school year and I am really pleased to School Closed announce that Mrs Lucy Hickey has been appointed as Year 2 teacher for next year. At the moment we do not have a start date for Mrs Hickey but I will send out information to Year 2 parents once this has been agreed. School Fair Friday 9th July 1.30pm Public Speaking We would like to thank all the children who took part this year. Murray and Philip Cringle were our judges and as usual the standard was very high. It was also good to see so many Sports’ Day Year 4 children taking part. Our thanks goes to Mrs Young for organising the event and congratulations to Henrietta who won the event, James who came second and Claudia who Friday 16th July 1pm came third. Leavers’ Assembly Dinner Money This half term dinners are £68.15 Wednesday 21st July 2pm Spare Clothes Thank you to those parents who have supplied us with school uniform. If you still have any uniform to donate, please bring any spares to the front entrance. Many thanks. Arbory’s Got Talent National Week Concert (Children Only) The school choir will be taking part in the Arbory Commissioners National Concert on Thursday 22nd July Saturday 10th July 2.30pm at Arbory Church. 1.30pm Mini Parish Walk The Rotary Club of Douglas are organising a Mini Parish Walk - Fun Walk event to be held School Closes on July 17th 2021. Leaflets will be available at school in the next couple of weeks.
