SIGNED AT COPENHAGEN ON 21 JUNE 19731 EXTENSION By an agreement in the form of an exchange of notes dated at Washington on 31 December 1974, which came into force on 31 December 1974, the date of the note in reply, in accordance with the provisions of the said notes, the above-mentioned Agreement was extended until 26 February 1975, the date of conclusion of the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on certain fishery problems on the high seas in the western areas of the Middle Atlantic Ocean.2 Certified statement was registered by the United States of America on 31 December 1975. EXTENSION, MODIFICATIONS and TERMINATION of provisions of the Agreement of 21 June 1973 (Note by the Secretariat) The Government of the United States of America registered on 31 December 1975 the Agree ment between the Government of United States of America and the Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on certain fishery problems on the high seas in the western areas of the Middle Atlantic Ocean signed at Washington on 26 February 1975.2 The said Agreement of 26 February 1975, which came into force on 26 February 1975 except for its paragraphs 4 and 5, and on 1 April 1975 in respect of its paragraphs 4 and 5, specifies in its paragraph 13 that it constitutes an extension and modification of the provisions of the above- mentioned Agreement of 21 June 1973.© The Agreement of 26 February 1975 further provides, in the same paragraph 13, that paragraph 3 of the Agreement of 21 June 1973 shall remain in force until 1 April 1975, at which time paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Agreement of 26 February 1975 themselves will enter into force.
