Verizon IndyCar Series Credential Policy INDYCAR issues season-long “Hard Card” credentials to media who cover the series on a regular basis. Hard card media must contact the individual racetrack to request media center access, parking passes and any other special needs. To request a season-long Hard Card, send a formal request to INDYCAR Communications that includes the media member’s name, media outlet and number of Verizon IndyCar Series events the media member will be attending during the season. Event-specific media credentials (for media members without a Hard Card) are issued by that respective event’s track.
