This means understanding what is appropriate for different stages of life, different levels of experience, and different individuals, and building close collaborations with partner organisations to fully understand and respond to their needs. In this context, our learning approach is pragmatic. Our learning processes combine both intellectual and experiential learning, both skills and knowledge, both personal and, where appropriate, organisational development. For experienced managers in particular, we know that learning comes as much from working with other managers as from working with faculty, and we build and support our learning teams accordingly. We are committed to innovative learning approaches, always looking to blend interactive, face-to-face learning with state-of-the-art virtual environments, independent study and guided experiential learning, putting skills into practice and reflecting on them, to best effect for our different learning communities. 5 Henley Business School at the University of Reading ‘Henley Business School combines ‘Whilst our reach and scale are the values and the collective thought genuinely global, our service and leadership of two highly respected attention to detail will always be institutions – each a leader in its personal to the needs of each student field for over 60 years – and we are and to the organisations with which justifiably proud to continue in the we work. future as one of the very few global ‘Henley Business School will develop business schools to maintain triple managers and leaders to make the accredited status. right choices; right for themselves, ‘Together we offer a compelling right for their organisations and right proposition – pragmatic and for the wider communities in which relevant programmes supported by they exist.’ the highest standards of rigorous Professor Chris Bones academic research.
