Councilor 31 Kimball seconded. There was no Council discussion. Council President Carter called for the vote. 32 Minutes were approved 5-0 (Schleif not present). 33 34 RECOGNITION OF PERSONS WHO WISH TO ADDRESS THE COUNCIL 35 36 There were none. 37 38 COUNCIL, MAYORAL AND CLERK-TREASURER COMMENTS/OBSERVATIONS 39 40 Councilor Worrell reminded citizens about the Nation Night Out featuring the Police Department. 41 Councilor Worrell also announced that the Mayor’s Human Rights Commission sponsored three booths at 42 the Carmel Farmer’s Market. 43 44 Councilor Kimball announced that there would be snacks and fire trucks at the National Night Out and 45 encouraged people to ride their bikes to the event. 46 1 47 Councilor Rider announced that the City Council and Human Resources hosted employee appreciation 48 night at the Monon Center Water Park. 49 50 ACTION ON MAYORAL VETOES 51 52 There were none. 53 54 CLAIMS 55 56 Councilor Worrell made a motion to approve Payroll in the amount of $1,625,834.75.
