Comrades Marathon 14 June 2020 Comrades Marathon is arguably the greatest Ultra Marathon in the world where athletes travel from all over the globe to combine muscle and mental strength to conquer approximately 90 kilometers between cities of Pietermaritzburg and Durban. The event owes its beginnings to the vision of one man, World War I veteran Vic Clapham. The 2019 Comrades event will be a "Down run” starting at the City Hall in Pietermaritzburg and finishing in Scottsville Racecourse in Durban.
