As designers attending 4 May 07 10.00 - 16.00 Basic weaving patterns the training, we came away with a good feel for the Vetiver and handicraft making grass, its potential and limitations. In truth, we felt thatthe training worked as an excellent opportunity for us not only for 5-7 May 07 Weekend and National holiday the learning of a skill, but more importantly to have had exposure as observers, who will now be able to initiate and 8 May 07 10.00 - 16.00 Basic weaving patterns provide direction to some Vetiver craft programmes in our and handicraft making country. 9-11 May 07 10.00 - 12.00 Weaving of continuous patterns 13.00 - 16.00 Decoration and assembling of We had taken with us in advance some design concepts that patterns into an object we thought might work well as Vetiver designs for India.
