South Huntington Jewish Center High Holidays 5781 “Do-it-Yourself” Prayer Services We know that due to the pandemic, we will all be praying from home this year on the High Holidays. These instructions, which are tied to the Mahzor Lev Shalem, are designed to assist you in the holiday prayers in the event that there is a technology failure that prevents you from staying connected to SHJC for the service, and also for those of you who do not have Zoom capability to connect to our services remotely. If you are able to blow a shofar yourself, you can do the mitzvah by going to p. 119, saying the two blessings, and blowing the 30 blasts indicated there. Otherwise, we will have Shofar blowing in our parking lot on Rosh Hashanah Day 2 from 3:30 – 4:00 – everyone stays in their car.
