As of 2013 he is the official photographer for the City of Hancock's website. Collection Scope and Content Summary Collection, 1934-2013, of Roland Bruce Burgan, a resident of Hancock, Michigan. As the photographer for the City of Hancock's website and a local historian, the collection includes materials related to Burgan's career and hobbies. Materials inlcude photographs, articles, audiocassettes, and CDs collected and, in part, captured by Burgan. Subject matter pertains to local events and history, including parades, new construction, college commencements, the city of Hancock website, the sesquicentennial celebration for the city of Hancock, local scenery, and the early history of radio broadcasting in the Copper Country and Michigan Technological University.
