Yacht It was Cluba UMPchallenge for everyone during the snowy P time to make it to the club and check on their boats. Then there were those that trudged through the sloppy mess and assisted with deicing and shoveling. Thanks to everyone that helped out, especially our House and Docks Committee Chairs. Speaking of helping out... As you know, QCYC is an all-volunteer yacht club and there are many opportunities coming-up for you in the next few months to join a committee or even provide some manual labor to the Bainbridge Outstation or Seattle Mainstation clean-up parties. The Mainstation “Pride of Queen City” will be hosted by Rear Commodore Terron Thanks to members Snowpocalypse on Dock 3 Lindholme and the Outstation Weekend who helped get us through it by Barb and Eric Wood. This is Queen City Yacht Club’s biggest event each CLEAR THE year and to be successful, QCYC members are encouraged BAINBRIDGE to volunteer to assist our Committee Chairs. This is a great WAY DURING time to get involved in a fun QCYC activity and meet other OUTSTATION members. We will have many non-QCYC members as our NOWPALOOZA guests. Opening Day activities from Wednesday, May1 to S Sunday, May 5 is a wonderful opportunity for members to come together to show our QCYC pride!
