TONIGHT’S GAME – The Colorado Eagles take on the San Antonio Rampage tonight in the first game of a two-game series. THE SERIES – Colorado will face San Antonio four times this season, with two of those games taking place at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles lead the season series with a record of 1-0 after a 3-1 victory at San Antonio on November 12th. THE ALL-TIME SERIES – The Eagles are 5-0-0 all-time against the Roadrunners, including a 2-0-0 mark in games played at the BEC. EAGLES’ LAST GAME (1/20) – The Stockton Heat scored 26 seconds into the first period and never looked back, as they defeated the Colorado Eagles 5-0 on Monday. Goaltender Artyom Zagidulin earned his second shutout of the season with 18 saves on 18 shots. Forward Byron Froese led the way for the Heat, netting a pair of goals in the victory. RAMPAGE’S LAST GAME (1/21) – Wilkes-Barre/Scranton forward Jordy Bellerive scored the game-winning goal 4:27 into overtime to give the Penguins a 3-2 victory over the San Antonio Rampage on Tuesday. Nathan Walker and Klim Kostin both found the back of the net in the loss for San Antonio. LAST MEETING (11/12) – Josh Dickinson notched a pair of assists, while fellow forwards Jacob MacDonald, Erik Condra and Igor Shvyrev all netted goals as the Colorado Eagles defeated the San Antonio Rampage, 3-1. Eagles goaltender Hunter Miska was stellar in net, stopping 38 of the 39 shots he faced. UP NEXT FOR THE EAGLES – Colorado will host the San Antonio Rampage on Saturday, January 25th at 7:05pm at the Budweiser Events Center. UP NEXT FOR THE RAMPAGE – Same as above. SAN ANTONIO RAMPAGE th MASKED MAN- Eagles goaltender Hunter Miska comes into PP: 22.5% (5 ) th tonight’s contest leading all Colorado netminders in goals- PK: 81.6% (17 ) against average (2.54) and save-percentage (.923). His .923 save percentage also ranks seventh among all AHL goaltenders this season. Miska has won four of his last five starts in net and authored a 43-save shutout of the Bakersfield Condors on November 15th. $500 .
