Glastonbury Arcadia 22-26 June Glastonbury, SSE worked with AF Live to provide Somerset sound for Glastonbury’s Arcadia, with Basement Jaxx and Craig Charles. Nocturne 23-26 June Blenheim Palace The Corrs and Elton John played at this year’s series of summer concerts at Blenheim Palace. Llangollen Eisteddfod 5-10 July Llangollen, Wales SSE provided sound for Llangollen’s international music, dance and culture festival. T In The Park 7-10 July Strathallan Calvin Harris, Red Hot Chilli Peppers Castle, and the Stone Roses headlined this Perthshire year’s Scottish music festival. Wireless Festival 8-10 July Finsbury Park, SSE provided L-Acoustics for the Main, London Second and Third stages, headlined by Calvin Harris and Chase & Status. Cambridge Folk 28-31 July Cherry Hinton SSE provided L-Acoustics for the main, Festival Hall Grounds second, Club Tent and Den stages for the annual folk festival, headlined by Gogol Bordello and Imelda May. Wilderness Festival 4-7 August Cornbury Park, SSE provided L-Acoustics and Avid for Oxfordshire the multi-award winning 4-day festival in Oxfordshire. Fairport’s Cropredy 11-13 August Cropredy, SSE provided L-Acoustics for the folk Convention Oxfordshire and rock festival, with Fairport Convention, Madness and Hayseed Dixie. Boomtown Fair 11-14 August Matterley Estate, SSE worked with AF Live to provide Hampshire an L-Acoustics K2 system for the Sector 6 stage. Shrewsbury Flower Show 12-13 August Shrewsbury, SSE provided L-Acoustics for this Shropshire year’s flower show.
