Preparations for playing 1. Plug in the power cable. ❍ Plug the power cable into an outlet. Make sure that the AC outlet is the correct voltage for your piano. ❍ Plug the connector into the socket on the bottom of the instrument ( p.10). 2. Turn on the power. POWER ❍ Press the [POWER] switch to turn on the power. When the power is turned on, the VOLUME Left side of power indicator located at the left side of the piano will light. keyboard FUNCTION KBD ❍ To turn off the power, press the [POWER] switch once again. When the power is turned off, the power indicator located at the left side of the piano will turn off. Power indicator 3. Adjust the volume. POWER ❍ Raise the [VOLUME] slider to the middle position. The volume will increase as you move the slider up, and will decrease as you move Louder VOLUME Below the slider down. At the “0” position, there will be no sound. [POWER] switch While playing the instrument, adjust the volume to an appropriate level. The [VOLUME] slider controls the volume of the built-in speakers and the output of the Softer FUNCTION KBD headphone jacks.
