Scope Note Hudson's collection documents his research for his bibliographies, his collecting, and his correspondence with others interested in children's literature. Arrangement Note: The collection is arranged topically, with the major divisions being Hudson's materials on various authors, his personal papers, assorted bibliographies, magazines, and his correspondence, all arranged alphabetically. Hudson's correspondence and personal papers are grouped by topic or person, which leads to some small overlaps between correspondence and personal boxes (for example, a folder in a personal box might have correspondence, but is mixed with other materials related to the subject being discussed).
